The following awards were presented to members of the Carolina Comets family Sunday November 23rd  at the NSA VIP Banguet.

July 27th 2003

Congratulations to our 18u team for their 17th place finish in the NSA World Series. There were 88 teams from several states and Canada competing in the World Series.

 

June 14 2002

Congratulations to Alisha Dixon for being named South Piedmont 3A Conference softball player of the year. Alisha attends J M Robinson High School, and is catcher for our Carolina Comets 18u team.

 

June 15 2002

Congratulations to Sheena Bailey (South Iredell Sr.) for being named 2002 All-County Softball Team Player of the year.  Central Piedmont 4A All Conference. Batting .366 AVG, .475 OB%, 21 runs, 13 RBI. Pitching .63 ERA, 9 shutouts, 146 strikeouts, 32 walks, record 16-6, most dominant pitcher in county.  Sheena will continue her softball career at Pfeiffer University. Sheena is also a pitcher for the Carolina Comets 18u team.

 

The Carolina Comets is a Girl’s Fastpitch Softball Organization based in Mooresville NC. Our teams are made
up of All Star Players from Iredell and surrounding North Carolina Counties. Currently our age levels are two 12u teams.

Our players are well coached in all aspects of playing competitive softball, and keeping in top physical condition. In addition, a strong emphasis is placed on academic excellence, good sportsmanship, and positive behavior. Physical aggression, unsportsmanlike conduct, foul language, and uncooperative behavior are not tolerated. We as a team take pride in personal and team accomplishments and accept winning and defeat with dignity. In and out of uniform, we represent The Carolina Comets, the community, and the sponsors.

Carolina Comets are currently looking for businesses and individuals to sponsor our teams.
